Scientific Diplomacy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) is promoting the internationalisation of Italian research and scientific diplomacy as essential tools for developing cooperation between Italy and the rest of the world.

The scientific cooperation between Italy and Australia is regulated by the Agreement for Scientific, Technological and Innovation Cooperation that was signed between the Italian Government and the Federal Government of Australia on the 22nd of May 2017 and that is in force since the 27th of June 2021.
