Discussions focused on expanding collaboration with Italian universities, including opportunities under Horizon Europe, the European Union’s flagship research and innovation program.
A key highlight of the meeting was the inauguration of the new School of Humanities within the College of Creative Arts, Design & Humanities, a significant step in advancing interdisciplinary teaching and research with a strong international outlook.
The meeting was also an occasion to explore opportunities to enhance Italian studies offerings, including the Bachelor of International Relations and Bachelor of Arts programs with Italian majors.
Music and cultural collaboration also featured prominently, with discussions on expanding exchange programs between the Elder Conservatorium of Music and Italian conservatoriums, fostering artistic mobility and shared creative practice.
