With a view to promoting the attraction of international talent in our country and fostering the internationalization of the Italian higher education system, the following two training opportunities in Italy through scholarships also open to foreign citizens :
1. PhD in European Studies, promoted by a consortium of Italian universities led by the University of Genoa.
Within the framework of the call for access to the doctorate in question, 34 scholarships are offered, divided into three different research areas:
– History of the idea of Europe and European integration (19 scholarships);
– European economic and social policies (6 scholarships);
– Multilevel governance and fundamental rights (9 grants).
The call is open to both Italian and foreign students. The deadline for sending applications is July 10 at 12.00 Italian time. Further information is available on the website https://studieuropei.dottorato.unige.it/ .
2. Offer of 14 scholarships for attending an advanced professional training course in fashion and design by the Makecampus Academy of Higher Education in Fashion and Design. The Academy – based in Cetona (Siena) – was born from a project of the Antonio Lombardi Foundation onlus, with the support of the Magister Group Spa holding company.
The course in question, aimed at Italian and foreign students between the ages of 18 and 25, includes 9 months of training and a further 6 months of work experience in companies in the sector. Attendance of the course does not imply the issue of a qualification with legal value in Italy, as the offering institution is not recognized by the MUR.
The scholarships offered cover course attendance and accommodation costs.
