Please note that a public exam for 80 positions as state police chiefs has been published on the “Gazzetta Ufficiale” of the Italian Republic – 4th Special Series “Concorsi ed esami” (public exams).This has been announced via the ministerial decree of 14 March 2016, which can be found on the website of the State Police (www.poliziadistato.it – under “Concorsi”).
Please be informed that the candidates who are abroad should send their application by using the online program available on the State Police website (cited above) or at http://concorsips.interno.it; applicants must follow the instructions and send their applications by 11:59pm of 16 April 2016.
After completing the online application the candidates are to print the enrolment receipt. This receipt will need to be presented to reception to gain access on the day of the preliminary test, as part of the subsequent enrolment process.
If the online application system does not work on the last three working days of submission, the candidates may submit the application, attached to the job advertisement, by registered mail. The application must be addressed to the Ministry of Interior, Department of Public Security, Central Directorate for Human Resources, Office Activities’ Insolvency, Via del Castro Pretorio n. 5-00185, Rome, Italy.
