The 26th edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with its longstanding institutional and cultural partners \u2014 including MIM, MUR, MiC, the Embassy of Switzerland, the Accademia della Crusca, CePeLL, CGIE, RAI, the Societ\u00e0 Dante Alighieri and Treccani \u2014 is dedicated this year to the theme \u201cLingua geniale: ideare, progettare, creare con l\u2019italiano\u201d (\u201cA Brilliant Language: Imagining, Designing and Creating in Italian\u201d).<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s edition aims to highlight the strategic link between culture and economic growth, presenting Italian as a creative tool and a driving force for ideas. It also celebrates Italian as a language that fosters creativity and innovation, as well as the ability to imagine and give shape to new ideas. Through language, we can conceive, design and create, expressing the richness of Italian culture and its contribution across a wide range of fields, from literature and the arts to science, design, technology and communication.<\/p>\n

The Week represents an important opportunity to promote the Italian language around the world, highlighting its vitality and ability to evolve. It brings together Italian and Italian-speaking communities, as well as all those in Australia and internationally who share an interest in and passion for the Italian language.<\/p>\n

A range of initiatives and activities dedicated to the Italian language and culture will also take place in Adelaide, designed to engage a broad audience and showcase Italian as a means of expression, creativity and connection.<\/p>\n
