This symbol, which represents the empty space left by a woman victim of femicide, stands as a commitment to equality, gender parity, and the fight against gender-based violence. Adelaide joins Canberra, which on the 25 November 2024, inaugurated its own red bench in the courtyard of the Italian Embassy as part of the campain &#8220;Orange the World: End Violence Against Women Now&#8221; and the international campaign to keep the focus on a social issue that remains too widespread.
