MASS IN MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF THE EARTHQUAKE

On Sunday 28th August, the Italian Consul organized a Mass at the St Francis Xavier Cathedral in Adelaide, in memory of the victims of the recent earthquake that struck central Italy. The Mass was celebrated by the Archbishop of Adelaide Philip Wilson. Among the people attending, the top authorities in the State, including the Premier, Hon. Jay Weatherill, John Gardner MP, Vincent Tarzia MP, the Hon. Grace Portolesi, Mr. Robert Bria Mayor of Norwood Payheham and St Peters, a few councilors and hundreds of Italian and Australian citizens who attended to pay homage to the victims of the earthquake and to their families.
