THE CONSUL GUESTS AT THE EXHIBITION “MOSTRA FOTOGRAFICA E STORIE DI CALABRESI”

On Friday, 17 June, the Consul attended the ” Photographic Exhibition and Stories of Calabresi ” organized by the Federazione dei Calabresi del South Australia, at the Italian Centre. The President Martin Princi , newly elected “consultore” of the Calabria region in Australia, during his speech, read a letter from the President of the Calabria Region, Mario Oliverio, who stressed the importance of this exhibition and the links with a land rich of historical, artistic, cultural and environmental heritage. The exhibition, on its second edition, projected through stories and images, the reality of the Calabrian pioneers arrived in South Australia. The event was attended by the Federal MP Tony Zappia, by the local MP Vincent Tarzia and by the Hon. Grace Portolesi, all of Calabrian origins.
