THE CONSULATE OF ITALY CELEBRATES UNESCO RECOGNITION FOR THE ART OF THE NEAPOLITAN PIZZA MAKING AS CULTURAL HERITAGE OF HUMANITY

To celebrate the important recognition of the Art of Neapolitan Pizza Making as intangible cultural heritage of humanity, the Consulate of Italy in South Australia organized a special event at the Consulate’s premises, on Friday 15th December.

Ettore Bertonati, Ambassador of PizzaUnesco in Adelaide, made real Pizza Margherita and Pizza with marinara sauce with his “Southern Street Tradizioni Terrone” mobile oven.

The event was very successful and hosted 170 guests between 5pm and 8pm.
