COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Emergency - Changes: Access to Consular Services

In light of the recommendations of the local authorities and pursuant to the directive of the Prime Minister's Office no. 2/2020, for health prevention purposes with reference to the spread of COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS), you are informed of the following measures:

- starting from 06.04.2020 and for the entire duration of the emergency, the consular services will be provided only by appointment, to be made through the web page

- access to the waiting room of the Consulate is temporarily limited to no more than four (4) people at the same time. Any people over this number will be invited to wait for their turn outside;

- please do not go to the Consulate if in the presence of flu symptoms, or if you fall into a category for which the local authorities require a period of preventive self-isolation;

- it is recommended to privilege remote communications (telephone and e-mail) and to use similar forms of request for those services that can be rendered electronically (e.g. AIRE registration, Fast It portal). In general, you are kindly invited to consider the opportunity to postpone the request for the service where there are no reasons of clear urgency.
